tests the Canon C100 vs the Sony A7s in log modes under various conditions:
The things I wanted to test for was
1. C-log vs Slog2
2. Low light
3. Wide detailed landscape shots
4. WIDE DR VS something similar on the Canon which I failed at ***
*** I tested The Sony profile PP6 against the WIDE DR of the C100. PP6 is Cinegamma 4 and is not really even close to WIDE DR. If I had to do over I would of picked a better Sony profile that matched the Canons WIDE DR.
For some shots I used the Sony in both APS-C mode and Full Frame mode and tried to match the framing.
On the C100 in C-LOG we had the sharpness all the way down which is -10. On the A7S in SLOG-2 mode we had the sharpness all the way down which is -7
In WIDE DR and Cinegamma 4 we had sharpness set to 0
To figure out exposure we had both cameras set to 100 for Zebras and we dialed exposure just before any zebras would show up on both cameras
