A Bunch of Blackmagic Production Camera 4K Tests – Is it that Bad?

I have a few Blackmagic Production Camera 4K Tests from different sources.

First up, is from Ian Cresswell, documenting Utah from the air:

Shot in and around Moab, Utah using a custom Skyjib octocopter platform. Video was filmed using a Blackmagic Production 4K camera and edited in Adobe Premiere.

Next, we have a video by Derron Miller of a street scene:

Low light footage graded in Davinci Resolve and edited together in FCPX. The originals and graded footage hardly resemble each other. The camera is pretty much awesome. I reazd many post that it can’t perform well in low light, but I think they are wrong. I will have the originals (ungraded) up later Most of the footage was shot on Rokinon 24mm T1.8 and Zeiss 50mm 1.4.

Finally, one by Daniel Grasskamp, which is a screen test for a feature film, but shows its ability in natural light and skin tones:

What do you think? It’s not as bad as people make it out to be, right?
