The custom buttons (C1 to C4) allow you to access the most-used settings with the click of a button, while you’re shooting. All you have to do is program it, and use it a few times until muscle memory kicks in.

Here’s how to customize the custom buttons:

The difference between the Function (Fn) menu and custom buttons is ‘One click’. You need one extra click to get to the exact setting with the Fn menu. So program the most-used buttons to C1-C4; and the buttons on the back dial.
